Whether you find your escape on a bike, beach towel, or pillow-top bed, Headlands and Oregon’s North Coast offer a multitude of adventures to feed your soul. It’s your Oregon Coast getaway, so you get to choose whether you want to stay in for a spa treatment or a private yoga session, in-room dining or date night at Meridian Restaurant & Bar. Or, head out and explore our local picks for trail hikes, kayak paddles, beach bonfires, and more. Relaxing or exhilarating, the North Coast has options for all types of travel for every season. Our Adventure Coaches are avid explorers of the Oregon Coast and love to share their discoveries. Looking to reserve a beach wheelchair? If mobility issues are keeping you from enjoying Pacific City’s coastal wonders, beach wheelchairs and an all-terrain electric chair are available to borrow. There is no fee to use, but advance reservations are required.

• Visit David’s Chair > Pacific City to borrow a complimentary, all-terrain track chair. It can be reserved online and arranged to be picked up at the Cape Kiwanda Parking Lot, adjacent to the boat ramp and beach.
• Visit Cape Kiwanda RV Resort’s website to borrow a complimentary beach wheelchair, in collaboration with Tillamook Coast Visitors Association. It can be reserved online and picked up at Cape Kiwanda RV Park’s Gear Shop, across the street from the beach.

EXPLORE THE OREGON COAST

   • Gear up and venture out for a day of kayaking along our local waterways
   • Join our Adventure Coaches and explore the fascinating tide pools at the base of Cape Kiwanda’s Great Dune
   • Stop by the Adventure Center to grab self-guided hiking maps and head out to explore the miles of local trails
   • Whizz along Pacific City’s streets on a Linus bicycle or e-bike, or go off-road on a fat tire bike
   • Head down to the beach with essentials including Malo’o lounge wagons, Malo’o backpack coolers, Malo’o surf ponchos, and chairs
   • Borrow a sand board or sand sled for a memorable way to descend the 240-foot Great Dune of Cape Kiwanda
   • Take in the magnificent coastal views from atop the Great Dune on a sunset dune climb
   • Arrange a clamming, crabbing, or foraging expedition with our Adventure and Meridian culinary teams
   • Learn a new skill, from painting to crab shaking to night-sky star identification
