   Join Adventure Chef Adam Glick for an unforgettable culinary evening at Meridian Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy an open-fire cooking demonstration with Chef Adam on the patio while savoring hors d’oeuvres and a glass of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage. Afterward, gather in our ocean-view Fireside Room for a unique culinary experience showcasing dory-caught crab, fresh clams and chanterelle mushrooms. Seats are limited.    DORY CRABBING EXPERIENCE
   Saturday morning, October 11, 2025

   Launch straight from the beach in a traditional flat-bottomed dory, a local fishing tradition since the early 1900s. Break through the surf with Adventure Chef Adam Glick and a seasoned dory captain and experience the thrill of pulling in Dungeness crab from the ocean. This rare adventure captures the essence of Oregon’s dory culture and the bounty of our waters.

   Head into the forest with our Adventure Coaches and discover the art of mushroom foraging along Oregon’s North Coast. As you explore coastal trails, learn how to safely identify edible mushrooms, understand the habitats where they thrive and appreciate their vital role in the ecosystem. From chanterelles to other seasonal finds, this immersive experience blends outdoor adventure with hands-on learning, offering a deeper connection to the natural bounty of fall.
