Whether you’re a casual dabbler, weekend warrior or a daily devotee, we’ve designed Tidepools Wellness to appeal to every level of interest and ability. Work out in our airy fitness center, join a community yoga class, reserve a private yoga session, soak in the outdoor hot tub and relax in the sauna.

  1. OFFERINGS: 
    Fitness center and wellness studio: 5:30 am – 11:00 pm daily.
    Patio and hot tub: 7:30 am – 11:00 pm daily.

    Our fitness center and wellness studio are available for lodge, cottage and day-use guests. While our offerings are reserved for adult use only, children are welcome to use the hot tub and steam room when accompanied by an adult.

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS


Tidepools Spa & Wellness offers personalized private yoga sessions tailored to your needs. Each session, led by expert instructors, take place in the wellness studio or on the beach, with options ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. Mats and props are provided. Exclusively for guests of Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa.

Slow Flow
Ideal for all levels of experience and drawing on the fundamentals of yoga, this gentle flowing class is rooted in Hatha Yoga and focuses on alignment, deep stretching, balancing postures, and breathing techniques.

Vinyasa Flow
This uplifting class focuses on re-awakening and re-energizing the body through a sequence of sun salutations, breath awareness, and strengthening and balancing postures.

Restorative Yoga
This deeply relaxing class focuses on breathing techniques paired with grounding postures of deep holds and dynamic twists to calm the body and mind.

Yoga Nidra Meditation
Also known as yogic sleep, this guided meditation will take you through the five subtle layers of the body while you experience a deep state of conscious relaxation. Your session will be split between restorative postures and meditation.

Breathwork Meditation
This meditation incorporates various breathing exercises accompanied with mudras, which are hand postures, to help improve quality of sleep, increase lung capacity, and reduce chronic stress and mood imbalances.
