Our Adventure Team comes from all over to Headlands but share a common passion for our surroundings and thrive on connecting you with all Oregon’s North Coast has to offer. The team has crafted many seasonal adventures to enjoy—from fat tire bike tours to mixology classes and everything in between. The coaches are always ready to customize your ideal Pacific City adventure itinerary.
One of our favorite summer outings that the team has created is the Sunset Bonfire on the Beach. It’s a not-to-miss North Coast tradition—Headlands-style, that encourages our guests to simply relax and share time with one-another while enjoying an unforgettable experience amidst our beautiful coastal surroundings.
Your Sunset Bonfire on the Beach includes a bonfire built by your Adventure Coach and everything needed for a leisurely evening on the beach including chairs, s’mores makings for two from our friends at 1927 S’mores Company, a bottle of Oregon red and a Pendleton motor robe that is yours to keep.
Catch an epic sunset setting behind Haystack Rock while you roast marshmallows and sip one of our favorite reds. Cuddle up together under your new handsome Pendleton Motor Robe. Share a light dinner on the beach—add a Charcuterie Picnic from the Adventure Provisions menu to enjoy Meridian on the-go. Need anything during your bonfire? More kindling or s’mores? Our Adventure Coaches are just a text or phone call away.
At the end of the evening our team will return to clean up and extinguish the fire, ensuring that we fulfill our commitment to beach stewardship. After a stroll under the night-sky, retreat to your guest room just steps from the beach and look forward to a new day of coastal adventure.
