We and our Pacific City neighbors work hard to offer fun and interesting activities—planned and facilitated by locals who chose to make their lives here—that will ensure our guests love this place as much as we do.     Glass Floats On The Beach

    • When: Ongoing Now through May 2018
    • Where: Seven miles of public beach from Roads End to Siletz Bay
    • What: Let the hunt begin! Each year from mid-October to Memorial Day, discover glass treasures in Lincoln City. The army of Float Fairies covertly hits seven miles of public beach hiding handcrafted glass floats along their way, from Roads End on the north to Siletz Bay on the south. You find it, you keep it!

    • What: Birding & Blues is a non profit community festival that celebrates the spring migration of birds and the natural resources of South Tillamook County. The events of the festival provide educational, cultural, recreational and economic opportunities to the residents and businesses of Pacific City and attract visitors of all ages and skill levels. Join us for fabulous hikes, fun excursions, mellow blues, and of course to see all sorts of birds and wildlife with the experts.

    • What: The 2018 Brewers Dinner series will tell a story throughout the year and will each feature a six course gourmet meal paired with Pelican beers. The cost is $75 per person and you must be 21 or older to attend.  Gratuity is not included in ticket price. This dinner will celebrate the food that we love in the here and now, and our current local suppliers.

    • What: Join over three thousand cyclists for Reach the Beach on Saturday, May 19. This one-day cycling event is perfect as a personal challenge or to ride together with friends and family. The event includes beautiful routes from four different start locations, medical and mechanical support on course, and eight lunch and snack stops.

    • What: Just north of the dory ramp on the beach at Cape Kiwanda, the captains of the dory fleet and their families will pause to remember those lost at sea, and say a prayer for the season ahead.

    • What: Join us for a weekend of fun and excitement to celebrate and raise money for our local animal shelter at Yappy Days. Each year there is a free street fair across the street from the beach compete with balloon animals, face painting, drawings, raffles, doggie vendors, and sometimes even adoptable puppies.

    Clover’s Day Festival

    • When: July 7, 2018
    • Where: Cloverdale, Oregon
    • What: The Clover’s Day Festival honors Cloverdale’s rural heritage and dairy industry. The 37th annual celebration kicks off with a pancake breakfast at Nestucca High School, and is followed by the Clover’s Day parade at 11 am, led by the prettiest cow in town. The parade is followed by a classic auto show, live music, and more. The day concludes with professional fireworks on the beach at Pacific City that begin at dusk.

    DORY DAYS WEEKEND

    • When: July 20 - 22, 2018
    • What: Join 59th annual Dory Days; a celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City. Festivities kick off with the Dory Days Parade that is scheduled to begin at 11 am. The parade starts at Bob Straub State Park and works it’s way into downtown Pacific City. Other events throughout the weekend includes live music, kids activities, fish fry and more. The Dorymen’s Association will operate a booth to answer questions from the public and a display of dory boats in the Cape parking.
  • Blowsion Surf Slam

    BLOWSION SURF SLAM

    • When: September 7 - 9, 2018
    • Where: Tierra Del Mar, Oregon
    • What: Gather around the shoreline in Tierra Del Mar, Oregon to see the world's greatest watercraft free-riders this September. This free event is in its 9th year and is an enjoyable event for all. Watch as jet skiers fly into the air doing flips and turns all while being filmed by some of the biggest TV stations. Over 100 professional, amateur, and rookies will hit the waves competing for prizes and points.
  • Kiwanda Longboard Classic

    CAPE KIWANDA LONGBOARD CLASSIC

    • When: September 14 - 16, 2018
    • What: It's time for the 20th Annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic. Over 175 participants will ride the waves in heats throughout the weekend. Pull up a spot on the beach and watch different skill levels and ages compete for a chance to be crowned victorious. Sponsored by Moment Surf Co.

    Pelican Brewing Salmon Run

    • Where: Tillamook, Oregon
    • What: The second annual Pelican Brewing Salmon Run 5k, 10k and 15k will start and finish at Pelican Brewery & Tap Room. This fun, timed race will feature a scenic race course through picturesque Tillamook. Runners will enjoy a post-race bash at the brewery featuring brewery tours, live music and much more.
